The Rotel RA 1000 is a rare, slim, and audiophile-designed integrated amplifier from 1980. The unit immediately stands out with its striking, band graphic equalizer on the front panel, allowing you to finely tune the frequencies to the room acoustics. Internally, the amplifier uses a DC (Direct Coupled) gain circuit for an exceptionally transparent sound and a fast bass response. In addition, it features a high-quality phono preamplifier suitable for both standard MM and MC cartridges, which at the time was a premium feature.

De Rotel RA 1000 is een zeldzame, slanke en audiofiel ontworpen geïntegreerde versterker uit 1980. Het apparaat valt direct op door zijn opvallende, bands grafische equalizer op het frontpaneel, waarmee je de frequenties nauwkeurig kunt afstemmen op de kamerakoestiek. Intern maakt de versterker gebruik van een DC (Direct Coupled) versterkingscircuit voor een uiterst transparante geluidsweergave en een snelle basrespons.
