An avant-garde photographer since the 1960s, Mimmo Jodice later became an interpreter of Naples’ reality as seen in its social, historical, and landscape aspects. A key figure in Italian and European contemporary photography, Jodice has contributed through his research to shaping the critical regard that photography has managed to gain in Italy as well, freeing itself from old prejudices. This volume gathers photographs by artists and by artistic events organized in Naples in the 1960s/70s, “from protest to withdrawal.”
The volume is presented in overall excellent condition. Dust jacket with slight signs of wear. Binding is firmly intact. Interior pages clean with no creases or stains. An excellent collector’s copy.
