Rare museum quality silver miniature Sitting Buddha bead from the Srivijaya culture, dating to the first millennium AD, measuring 59 × 25 × 10 mm, in good condition with an antique patina, original/official hand-cast artifact acquired in 1995 from a gallery or antique dealer in the United Kingdom.

A rare museum quality silver Buddha figurine talisman from the ancient Javanese Srivijaya culture.
First Millennium AD.
Srivijaya Kingdom was a ruling dynasty in Java from the 8th to 12th
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, artisan hand casting, cutting and carving. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1995 by Dr. Zelnik in London on the local art market.
