Refined antique table linen of great value, expression of the finest textile tradition of the past. This set consists of two coordinating, overlapping tablecloths and 12 damask napkins, ideal for setting a scenographic table up to 12 guests.

Fabric and Weave Characteristics:
High-quality damask fabric (linen or linen/cotton blend with high weight), featuring a rhythmic and sinuous floral motif.
The jacquard weaving creates the characteristic glossy-opal optical effect that reflects light, valorizING the damask shapes.
All 14 pieces of the set are edged with a delicate lace worked in crochet/tombolo with arch motifs, executed with artisanal craftsmanship.
The lace is applied on all four sides of each tablecloth and of the 12 napkins.

Condition and general state:
Excellent vintage condition overall. The lace trim is perfectly intact on all pieces.
Signs of time: As this is an antique item that has been stored for a long time in chests or wardrobes, there may be stains and yellowing from storage (time bloom), due to the natural aging of the fibers and original starches.
Washing advice: A traditional water wash with Marseille soap and a gentle stain-removing soak (or sodium percarbonate / active oxygen) is recommended, which will help remove or greatly reduce such halos, restoring the linen to its original splendor.
