The most notable feature is its relief ornamentation with volute motifs that alternate with dark-colored spaces, giving it a great deal of depth.
It also has a braided or rope-like frieze detail on the inner edge, which frames the image area.
It has a polychrome finish or a patinated effect.
It combines gold/bronze tones with accents in a reddish color (terracotta) and black.
