Batch of 7 Navajún pyrites on matrix. Crystal on matrix- 975 g - (7)

Magnificent lot of 7 pyrites on matrix from the well-known Navajún deposit, La Rioja.

The lot consists of 1 mac­le specimen measuring 25–30 mm, another with a smaller macle of about 10–15 mm, 4 matrices with a cube of about 15–18 mm, and a final one with up to two cubes with edge lengths of about 15 mm and 5 mm respectively. The size of the matrices ranges from 50 mm to 70 mm in length.

All specimens feature perfectly defined cubes with a bright, mirror-like finish, typical of this deposit. In all specimens you can find some small imperfection inherent to the extraction process but that does not detract from their splendor.

Nice lot to complete a collection of classic deposits.
