A very fine Western Asiatic bronze ceremonial macehead. The piece features a round, bulbous middle adorned with radiate hemispherical protrusions, arranged vertically. Two cylindrical stems flank the bulbous element, finished with ridges at both ends. Beautiful green patination and earthy encrustations feature to the surface.
