– France – ca. 1930-1955

Exceptionally large round footed dish from the renowned Émaux de Longwy manufactory,
executed in hand-painted cloisonné enamel on a characteristic turquoise crackle ground.
The decor consists of a richly stylized floral motif in vivid shades of blue, red, yellow and green,
framed by a dark blue border.

The underside bears the original Longwy crest mark with the inscription Émaux de Longwy – France,
Décoré à la main, as well as the decor code 2792, and with the number 39, probably an atelier number.
This is an authentic French collectible that beautifully illustrates the traditional Longwy enamel technique.
