This is a vintage, two-handed knotted high-pile Turkish Anatolian rug, probably from the 1960s or 1970s or older.
Material: The rug is made of 100% wool.
Design: The rug has a pink base with three large blue and yellow geometric medallions.
Style: It fits within the Oushak or Kars style, known for their vibrant colors and traditional patterns.

Turkish hand-knotted carpets, on the other hand, are all unique and do not follow any guideline regarding fixed patterns, therefore you will never find two identical specimens.

Dit is een vintage dubbelhand geknoopt hoogpolig Turks Anatolisch tapijt, vermoedelijk uit de jaren 60 of 70 of ouder.
Materiaal: Het tapijt is gemaakt van 100% wol.
Ontwerp: Het kleed heeft een roze basis met drie grote blauwe en gele geometrische medaillons.
