An 1850–1900 walnut burr bureau in Queen Anne Revival style, European-made, 101 cm high, 77 cm wide, 42 cm deep, with a fall-front writing surface, internal pigeonholes and compartments, three drawers with brass drop handles, and cabriole legs, in good condition with signs of age.

English Queen Anne Revival Walnut Burr Bureau – Early 20th Century
Elegant English Queen Anne Revival bureau dating from the early 20th century, crafted in walnut with beautiful burr walnut veneers displaying an exceptionally decorative natural grain.
The fall-front writing surface opens to reveal a fitted interior with multiple pigeonholes and small compartments, providing practical storage for letters, documents and writing accessories. Below are three spacious drawers fitted with attractive period-style brass drop handles.
The bureau stands on elegant Queen Anne cabriole legs, a distinctive feature of the style, giving the piece refined proportions and timeless appeal.
A decorative and functional piece, suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Condition
The bureau is in good antique condition with signs of age and use consistent with its period. There are surface scratches, wear to the finish, minor veneer losses and age-related marks, particularly around the edges and feet.
