Ancient Egyptian faience Wedjat Amulet of the Late Period (circa 664–332 BC), measuring 2.5 cm by 1.9 cm, pierced for suspension, with original colour and glaze, acquired from a private collection in 1990 and with provenance from a private collection dating to 1920, provenance indicating unknown country of origin.

An Ancient Egyptian faience wedjat amulet, more commonly known as the Eye of Horus. The amulet displays the typical silhouette, combining human and falcon ocular features. The details of the eye have been intricately moulded: the brow is portrayed through a single incised line, beneath which the almond-shaped eye with a large, round pupil, and the extended cosmetic line.
