Rare anthropomorphic cane/sceptre from the Azande culture in the Democratic Republic of Congo, dating to the mid-20th century, carved in wood with a dense honey-coloured head and a striped bark grip, with a red paint residue at the base, dimensions 80 cm high by 10 cm wide by 12 cm deep, weight 445 g, in correct condition, authentic/original, from a private collection and sold without a stand.
