Description from the seller

The Gerber Miming knives from the Legendary Blades series are regarded as an icon of Mid-Century Modern design. They were designed by Pollock and introduced to the market in 1949, even being included in MoMA New York’s design collections.

The main features of this set include:
Materials and Construction
High-carbon steel blades: Made from a special high-hardness tool steel (up to 62 HRC) and subsequently chrome-plated to ensure excellent edge retention and rust resistance.
One-piece fused handles: The sleek, ergonomic handles are made from die-cast aluminum alloy directly onto the blade (an advanced metallurgical process for the era), creating a continuous, rivet-free structure.
Bright chrome finish: The entire knife presents a bright, uniform silvery surface.

Dimensions and Design
Length: Each knife measures approximately 21–22 cm in total, with a straight, slender blade about 8–9 cm long.
Sculptural aesthetics: The profile is exceptionally clean and fluid, inspired by modernist sculpture.
Balance: The seamless transition between handle and blade provides a balanced, comfortable grip.

Original Packaging
Presentation case: The set is housed in a solid wood presentation box, traditionally American walnut.
Protective interior: The bottom and lid are lined with burgundy red velvet.

Shipping will be insured and sent in professional packaging.
