Original autograph of NEIL ALDEN ARMSTRONG signed in person, with protective case sealed.
Neil Alden Armstrong, born in Wapakoneta in 1930, was the first man to set foot on the Moon. A United States Navy pilot and test pilot, he joined NASA's astronaut corps in 1962 and commanded the Gemini 8 mission in 1966, which achieved the first docking of two spacecraft in orbit. On July 20, 1969, at the helm of Apollo 11 with Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, he piloted the lunar module Eagle to the Sea of Tranquility. He spoke the most famous phrase in the history of space exploration. A reserved man, he left NASA in 1971 to teach aerospace engineering. He died in 2012.

• Side, anti-tampering opening seal.

SAI (Signum Authentication Institute) is the entity with which the seller catalogs and seals pieces of their collection. The buyer is free to subject the piece to independent appraisal. In case of a negative outcome documented by one of the aforementioned entities, the seller will fully reimburse the amount paid.
