Onkyo - TA-2028 Audio-cassette deck

For sale: a reconditioned Onkyo TA-2028 cassette deck, produced in Japan between 1985 and 1987 as part of the MC-2000 series. This 2-head deck features a 2-motor transport, Dolby B and C noise reduction, automatic tape-type recognition for Normal, Chrome and Metal tapes, and a wow & flutter of only 0.06%. The frequency response extends to 17 kHz with Metal tape and the signal-to-noise ratio is up to 78 dB with Dolby C.

This unit has been technically serviced. The drive belts have been replaced, the mechanism has been internally cleaned and the heads have been renewed, making the deck reliably functional again for both playback and recording.

Careful shipping is possible. The cassette deck will be professionally packed with high-quality packing materials to minimize transport damage. Pick-up is also possible in Alkmaar at OD&D, by appointment only.
