Description from the seller
A-2300SX – Stereo Reel-to-Reel Recorder (Vintage)
The TEAC A-2300SX is a reference stereo reel-to-reel recorder from 1970s Japanese production, designed for high mechanical stability and high-fidelity analog playback. Appreciated by audiophiles and collectors, it represents one of the most successful examples of TEAC's constructive philosophy in the consumer/semi-professional segment of that era.
The model uses a three-motor transport system, with precise tape tension control and separation of recording, playback, and erasing functions via dedicated heads. The mechanical construction is solid, with a rigid chassis and an internal layout designed to reduce vibrations and instability of dragging.
Conditions of the unit
This specific unit presents in excellent aesthetic condition, preserved for a long time exclusively on static display (showcase) and used in an extremely limited way.
Very well-preserved aesthetics, with no obvious signs of wear
Front, knobs and VU meters in overall excellent condition
No apparent modifications or tampering
Mechanical condition and operation normal in tests performed
Functionality
The unit has been tested and is functional in the main operating functions:
Play
Fast Forward
Rewind
