French Neoclassical Demilune Console Table with Tambour Doors, 1950s

A refined French demilune console combining compact proportions with practical concealed storage. The curved tambour doors, slender fluted legs and restrained brass details give the piece a balanced neoclassical character well suited to the French Elegance auction.

Its curved architectural form and tambour construction reflect the French tradition of combining decorative cabinetmaking with efficient use of space. The warm wood tone and understated brass ornament provide visual presence without overwhelming an interior, making it suitable for an entrance hall, salon, bedroom or an established collection of French-style furniture.

The table remains in good vintage condition with age-related surface marks, light scratches, edge wear and variations to the finish. The tambour doors slide open to reveal the interior compartment. It will be shipped exactly as shown in the photographs, so please examine all images carefully.

Dimensions: height 71 cm, width 64 cm, depth 36.5 cm.
