A few years before his death in 1990, Keith Haring created a series of cartoons that would result in the short , an animation created for children's television and broadcast in "Sesame Street".

Now Haring is one of the most important artist of the 20th as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Rene Magritte, Jeff Koons, Banksy or Egon Schiele
This is an authentic hand-painted animation cel created by Keith Haring (D 1990) for use in the production of an animated spot in the show "Sesame Street". The piece measures approximately 31.5x26.5cm in size. This is a one-of-a-kind piece.

Keith Haring's vibrant, street-art legacy bridges the gap between historical mastery and contemporary pop culture, fundamentally connecting him to the world's most iconic artists. Much like the revolutionary spirit of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt, Haring redefined visual boundaries, matching the emotional intensity of Vincent van Gogh and Edvard Munch through simple, raw line work. His bold, geometric forms trace an evolutionary line back to the Cubism of Pablo Picasso, the abstraction of Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, and Henri Matisse, and the surrealism of Salvador Dalí and René Magritte. Alongside peers like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Haring democratized fine art just as the Impressionists—Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Edgar Degas—had challenged the establishment a century prior. Ultimately, his socially conscious murals carry the raw, accessible energy found in the works of Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Gustav Klimt, securing his place in a lineage shared today by modern giants like Yayoi Kusama and Banksy.
