Stool - Wood, Textile - Ottoman/footstool

Gorgeous minimalist wooden stool (footstool/hocker) in the iconic Mid-Century Modern style. This model is believed to have been designed in the 1960s by the respected Polish interior architect and designer Edmund Homa. Unfortunately unmarked. The stool shows strong similarities with Scandinavian modernism from that same period. The frame is characterized by clean, organic joints and the elegantly tapering legs. The seat is upholstered in a comfortable, dark blue textured fabric. This is of later vintage. which forms a nice contrast with the warm, dark hue of the wooden frame.

The whole is in prime vintage and solid condition with some signs of use appropriate to its age and use.
