Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Philips 212 belt‑drive turntable in good physical condition and tested functional, weighing about 7 kg, with electronic speed control for 33 and 45 rpm, a floating subchassis with damped tonearm, and the Philips GP400 moving-magnet cartridge, housed in a walnut/black console with a transparent dust cover, one unit, no extras, and carefully insured shipping.
Description from the seller
The Philips 212 is immediately recognizable by its iconic, green-lit electronic touch keys for speed selection (33 and 45 rpm) and stop. Another important feature is the sublimely designed floating subchassis. Both the platter and the tonearm are suspended, making the player completely immune to external vibrations. In addition, it features an electronic, silent shut-off via a clever built-in light-sensitive cell. This turntable is equipped with the very popular and musical Philips GP400 magneto-dynamic cartridge (including a good needle). This cartridge delivers a beautifully neutral, warm, and true-to-life analog sound that perfectly suits this hi-fi classic. The player is nicely finished in a [walnut / black] console with a hinged, transparent dust cover.
Carefully packed and insured shipping.
