In auction, a splendid specimen of rough blue sapphire from the renowned Sri Lankan (Ceylon) deposits.
The crystal presents an intense and vivid blue color, exceptionally enhanced when backlit.
This is a completely natural piece that has undergone no thermal or chemical treatment, ideal for collectors of rare minerals or for subsequent faceting/cabochon cutting.
