An authentic old Russian podstakannik in solid 875 silver (84 zolotnik) from Moscow, Imperial Russia, circa 1880–1900, measuring 7 cm high and 7 cm in diameter with a weight of 111 g without the glass, featuring floral hand engraving with a cartouche and monogram, a beaded rim, and a square czarist-era handle, in very good condition with minor age-related patina and no dents, and including the original 16‑facet Soviet glass; acid tested and non-magnetic.

Offer of a genuine, old Russian teaglash holder / podstakannik made of solid silver.
Details:
• Material: 875 silver, Russian 84 zolotnik • Weight: 111 g (without glass), heavy and solid • Dimensions: 7 cm height x 7 cm diameter • Hallmarks: 84 fineness mark + master mark НТС / NTS (Cyrillic), stamped multiple times on handle and body • Provenance: Moscow, Imperial Russia, approx. 1880-1900 • Condition: Very good, no dents, light patina, inside contains remnants of the original gilding
Decor:
Beautiful floral hand engraving with a cartouche and an old monogram. Beaded rim at the top finish. Classic, angular handle shape from the czarist era.
Also included is the matching old Soviet facet glass (Granjonij Stakan, 16 facets), as used on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
Not silver-plated brass, not a Soviet replica – genuine czarist silver, acid-tested, not magnetic.
