X-Trans II CMOS
The APS-C sensor features Fuji's innovative X-Trans design, where semi-randomly distributed color filter array cells make a low-pass filter unnecessary without an increased risk of moiré. The sensor is equipped with phase-detect pixels.

Film and WiFi
Unlike other retro cameras, the X-T2 features a 4K movie function. With a 4K resolution and 30fps, the X-T2 can film in very high quality. Connecting an external microphone is also possible. Furthermore, Fujifilm provides the X-T2 with Wi-Fi and the camera can be operated remotely.
