Model named Italia 90/1 specifically built for the football championships played right in Italy in July 1990, blue in color to pay homage to the Italian National Team that participated. For the event Olivetti modified two mechanical typewriters, one electric, and a pocket electronic calculator, changing their body color and adding the logo “Italia ‘90.” A rare object, absolutely intact and fully functional in every part. It shows slight color shading due to age, although it has always been displayed alongside other retro items in my studio. The typewriter is sold with the original ribbon pre-mounted and another new ribbon in its box.
