English Silver-Plated Four-Piece Tea & Coffee Service, c.1930–1940
Elegant English silver-plated four-piece tea and coffee service dating to approximately the 1930s–1940s. The set comprises a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, all in a matching design with attractive fluted decoration to the lower bodies and original black handles and finials. The service presents exceptionally well and remains in excellent condition for display or decorative use, retaining a bright silver-plated finish with only light age-related surface wear consistent with careful use. There is some verdigris present inside the sugar bowl and cream jug, which would benefit from cleaning if intended for practical use, but does not detract from the overall presentation.
