This beautiful 1/18 scale model of the iconic DKW Junior is produced by Revell and is in absolute mint condition. The model is finished in a very stylish and historically accurate two-tone combination: deep dark red with a contrasting white roof.
History of the car: An icon of the 'Wirtschaftswunder'
The DKW Junior was introduced in the late 1950s by Auto Union and quickly grew into a beloved sight on European roads during the post-war economic boom. With its characteristic three-cylinder two-stroke engine, the subtle rear fins (inspired by American fashion of that time) and the recognizable chugging sound, the Junior was a technically advanced and exceptionally charming compact car. This model exudes pure nostalgia from the 1950s and 1960s.
About the scale model:
Revell is known for its eye for detail in classic car models, and that is evident in this DKW Junior.
