Faïence de Calais - Plate (2) - décor Saule pleureur - Earthenware

Very beautiful pair of faience plates from Calais dating from the second half of the 19th century. Nice decoration called "Weeping Willow" representing a landscape in the Asian taste printed in blue under glaze, crackled glaze. The print on one of the two plates is blurrier.

Embossed seal "Calais" under each of them.
