Very handsome antique French clock, finely executed in fire-gilt bronze and featuring a beautiful sculptural tableau of a mother and her child, flanked by a sitting dog.

This special figurative scene carries the title ‘L'Inquiétude Maternelle’ (Maternal worry) and vividly expresses the care and affection of a mother for her child.

This beautiful and imposing clock is of French origin and dates from the early 19th century.

Thanks to the refined sculptural execution and the fine fire-gilt bronze, it is a particularly decorative and impressive timepiece.
