AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Letter holder / Document holder in brass – Galloping horse
Elegant brass letter (or document) holder, designed both as a utilitarian object and as a decorative piece.
The structure consists of a double circular arc adorned with relief dots, forming a vertical support in which a galloping horse is naturally inserted, treated as a silhouette cut-out. The animal, captured in full motion (head stretched, legs extended, tail dynamic), gives the whole a lively and elegant character.
The rectangular slightly trapezoidal base is decorated with engraved motifs of horseshoes and small circles, reinforcing the equestrian theme.
Function: Letter holder / document holder. The arcs form a vertical storage space allowing letters, mail, cards or documents to be held.
Material: Brass (or copper alloy) with a matte-satin finish, presenting a patina of use and a slightly aged appearance.
Style: Art Deco or Neo-Art Deco, with a clean treatment of the silhouette and a play of geometric volumes (concentric arcs).
Estimated period: 20th century (likely produced in the 1930s-1960s or contemporary revival in the Art Deco spirit).
