Art Nouveau Tile - De Dyle, Wijgmaal - Art Nouveau - 1910-1920

Original antique Art Nouveau border tile made by: S.A. Produits Céramiques de la Dyle in Wijgmaal, Belgium. The tile was made around 1910. The decoration of swans is applied in a dust-press technique, where clay powder is pressed into a mold. The tile is in good condition, with only some light signs of wear such as a few small glaze defects. The back is marked with Le Glaive, a trade name of this factory.
