Description from the seller
Folding Voigtländer camera (1927-1931) – Voigtar Optics 10.5 cm / Ibsor Shutter –
A very fine folding camera from the prestigious German brand Voigtländer, produced between 1927 and 1931. This is a historical witness to the transition to roll film photography, combining robust mechanical construction with an incomparable vintage aesthetic.
A notable historical detail: the camera carries the original plaque from the famous specialist dealer O. Kullenberg G.M.B.H. of Essen, affixed to the body (visible in the photo). This marking confirms the German commercial origin of the period and adds unique historical interest for collectors.
Condition of the item: The camera is in good conservation condition. Crucial point: all movable parts have been tested and are perfectly functional.
Mechanical: The central Ibsor shutter operates at all speeds, just as the bellows deployment mechanisms, which are smooth and lock in place without difficulty.
Optics: The Voigtar anastigmat lens 1:6.3 f=10.5 cm is clean, with no visible scratches or bothersome mold.
Bellows: The bellows are in good condition, with no holes, ensuring a perfect light seal.
Aesthetics: The leather covering shows a superb original patina. The metal parts bear the imperial D.R.P. (Deutsches Reichs-Patent) mark.
Note: The camera is sold as-is, in the described condition, and carefully prepared for shipment.
