Wine glass (7) - Uranium glass

Magnificent set of 7 wine glasses made from genuine uranium glass (ouraline) dating from the first half of the 20th century.

The glasses feature an elegant yellow-green tint characteristic of uranium glass that glows bright green under ultraviolet light, a property typical of uranium-containing glass. This property is shown in the photographs.

Each glass is adorned with a delicate acid-engraved design depicting stylized botanical motifs, typical of the Art Deco period.
