Coffee set (4) - Silverplated

Silvered Art Deco coffee service manufactured by Hollandia Plate from circa 1930.
This specifically heavily silver-plated set is known for its clean geometric design and consists of:
coffee pot with a hinged lid (18 cm tall and 873 g), sugar pot (with spoon) with hinged lid (11 cm tall and 374 g), milk jug (8 cm tall and 222 g) and matching 30 cm diameter serving tray (680 g).
Hollandia Plate in Hilversum were specialists in heavy silver-plating, the so-called hotel silver.
The number in the diamond indicates the model number. In 1960 this company was taken over by Gero.
The fan-shaped, sleekly stylized typeface of Hollandia Plate was used in the period 1925-1935.
Also the model design numbers refer to the early 1930s.
