AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful, very large XXL shell with light coloration Charonia Tritonis - colloquial name of the Triton horn or giant Triton, this is a species of a very large sea snail, a mollusk of the family Charoniidae, tritons. It is one of the largest mollusks on the coral reef. The shell is thick and heavy, strongly spiraled in the shape of an elongated tower. It ends sharply at the apex, gradually widening toward the aperture.
Strongly ribbed, with pronounced spiral ridges and knobs. The shell color most often yellowish, creamy, or brown with irregular, darker spots and stripes. The aperture (shell opening) is large, wide, oval.
The interior is smooth, often orange, pink, or reddish-brown, contrasting with the exterior of the shell. The outer lip is thick, sometimes wavy, often with delicate dentitions.
Distinctive features - due to its large size and characteristic structure, it has been used in many cultures as a wind instrument (shell-trumpet).
It is valued by collectors and has significance in art and rituals. Dimensions - 125×180×355mm. I highly recommend it to collectors and interior decorators.
