It is a Hollywood Regency entry console that displays that seductive balance between transparency, shine, and controlled theatricality that defined luxury design of the 1960s and 1970s, especially in pieces associated with the Maison Jansen universe and other workshops that worked with modern materials without renouncing classical elegance.
The structure is organized on two levels of crystal, both with softly curved edges that provide visual lightness and allow light to pass through the piece without obstruction. That transparency makes the console a piece of furniture that breathes, that does not invade the space, but transforms it with its refined presence.
The acrylic or lucite legs, completely transparent, are the most characteristic gesture of 1970s design: clean, vertical columns, almost ethereal, that support the structure as if elevating it.
