The commemorative coin minted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, a fundamental event in the process of independence and the formation of the Turkish Republic under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The obverse features the portrait of Atatürk with a kalpak, executed in a realistic style and framed by the national motto. The reverse shows a representation of the historic Grand National Assembly building, accompanied by the motto “Hakimiyet Milletindir” (“Sovereignty belongs to the nation”), the face value of 25 Lira, and the commemorative dates. The specimen exhibits outstanding preservation corresponding to its grade MS66, with sharp reliefs, an original satin finish of very intense shine, and clean fields that maintain an attractive silvery appearance, highlighting especially the minting quality and the excellent overall condition of the piece.
