- Grade: MS61 (NGC).

Obverse with the bust of the Portuguese Republic looking left, wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with laurel leaves and ears of corn. Perimeter inscription: REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA. Date 1916 at the bottom. Reverse with the coat of arms of Portugal centered on an armillary sphere, surrounded by two laurel branches joined by a ribbon. At the bottom, the inscription 20 CENTAVOS. Coin minted in the context of the Portuguese First Republic, a period characterized by political instability and major economic changes. Nevertheless, this piece reflects a classic design with strong national symbolism. This coin is encapsulated by NGC with the grade MS61, ensuring its excellent state of preservation.
