Boin-Taburet in Paris – 4-piece 950 silver Tea-Chocolate Service
Description
This 4-piece 950 silver ensemble was manufactured in the Parisian silversmith workshop “Boin-Taburet.” The set, in the elegant Historicist style, features fine vertical fluting, noble rope borders, and handles made of hardwood. A special feature is the tall chocolate pot (Chocolatière) with its characteristic side-mounted wooden handle. Components of the set: a teapot, a chocolate pot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer. On each piece there are at least two Minerva head marks and a maker’s mark.
