French Empire Soup Tureen / Vegetable Tureen - 950 Silver - France -
Description
Elegant, classicist vegetable soup tureen / soup tureen made of French 950 silver. The vessel impresses with its timeless, clean design and the geometric handles typical of the Empire style. The curving fitting lid is adorned with an elaborated, sculpted ring-shaped knob with a laurel and flower wreath motif. The tureen is stamped several times with the French state/fineness mark, guaranty mark, and master mark.

Condition
Good, well-kept condition with a beautiful even patina. Normal, light signs of use and fine surface scratches are visible. There are slight dents on the lid.
