This snake-shaped bracelet is from the firm Kordes & Lichtenfels, Pforzheim, Germany.
Dates from the Art Deco period, the 1920s–1940s.
The bracelet is segmented, making it very flexible.
The decoration consists of geometric patterns that form the snake's scales.
At the head, a facet-cut purple stone (presumably synthetic amethyst).
The stone appears to have been reset, as seen by some spots around the stone. See photo.
Assayed with: 835 (second quality silver) and K&L.
Inner diameter: 6.5 cm.
Width: 0.8 cm.
Head width: 1.5 cm.

Deze armband, in de vorm van een slang is van de firma  Kordes & Lichtenfels, Pforzheim, Duitsland.
Dateert uit de Art Deco periode, de jaren 1920-'40.
De armband is opgebouwd segmenten, waardoor hij zeer flexibel is.
De versiering bestaat uit geometrische patronen die de schubben van de slang vormen.
Op de kop een facet geslepen paarse steen (vermoedelijk synthetische amethist).
De steen lijkt te zijn herplaatst, te zien aan enkele vlekjes rond de steen. Zie foto.
