This vintage LEGO System storage case with a red checkered pattern and blue handle is model 890-2, originally released in 1967
I bought the case myself in Denmark.
The inside of the lid reveals an advertisement in Danish about taking your LEGO with you wherever you go.
The original insert is still inside the case as well, which is quite rare; these are almost always missing.

Deze vintage LEGO System opbergkoffer met rood ruitpatroon en blauw handvat is model 890-2, oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 1967
De koffer heb ik zelf in Denemarken gekocht.
De binnenzijde van het deksel onthult een reclame in Deense taal met als onderwerp dat je overal je lego mee kunt nemen.
De originele inlay zit ook nog in de koffer,wat best zeldzaam is,deze missen bijna altijd.
