Nicholas Ganz - Graffiti World [Limited Edition, Original artwork Hand made By artist ABOVE] - 2004

I bought this around 20 years ago from a bookshop in Hong Kong.

To celebrate the release of Graffiti World: Street Art from Five Continents, six artists were each given 100 pizza boxes to hand-paint, making a total of only 600 unique boxes. Every box is different and contains a copy of the book.

When the edition was released, each limited edition book has a outer box which is an original artwork by a graffiti artist. Each was assigned one of the 600 hand-painted boxes.

This particular box was hand-sprayed by the American street artist ABOVE, full name is Tavar Zawacki. It is still sealed in its original cellophane wrapping and has never been opened but with minor bumps on it, please see the photos.

A rare and highly collectible piece for fans of street art and contemporary graffiti.
