Two half-pages forming page 4 of an adventure of Teddy Ted published in Vaillant, the Pif journal, Issue V1155 (02/07/1967).
India ink on large-format drawing paper 74/62.5 cm.
Gérald Forton (1931/2021). Grandson of Louis Forton (creator of Les Pieds Nickelés).
- He first builds a career in Europe, drawing, among other things, the adventures of Bob Morane, Teddy Ted, The Mysteries of the West ...
- In 1966, at the request of Edgar P. Jacobs, Gérald Forton did the pencil layout for the first 18 pages of The Necklace Case, a new Blake and Mortimer adventure.
- Short stories for Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, or Sub-Mariner.
- And a career in the USA. In the 1980s, he collaborated with DC Comics, Eclipse Comics and First Comics on several comic book titles.
- He also worked as a storyboard artist (Prince Vaillant, Toy Story 1).
