Description from the seller

Lamp from the 1970s/1980s. Made of Murano glass. The lamp features an internal wooden base to which a round gilded-brass piece is attached, which is the part visible in the photo as the base. Then the lamp stem, with an amphora-shaped body, is made of white opal glass, decorated with a heat-applied spiral of colored glass threads in a contrasting color which in this case are brick red. This type of workmanship diffuses the light softly and evenly. Above it is completed by a closure also in gilded brass from which the white plastic structure extends that contains the bulb that lights the upper part. The lampshade is accordion-pleated. The lamp has a double electrical system, so it can be used either by turning on only the bulb inside the glass body or via the switch located under the shade, also using the bulb on the upper part.
Using both bulbs as seen in some photos, the glass part diffuses an elegant atmosphere. A lamp suitable to be placed on a side table next to the sofa, on a desk, in an office, or on a sideboard. It is perfectly functional.
Measurements: height 60 cm. Width 41 cm. Depth 41 cm. Height of the glass part 35 cm.
The lamp has been used and shows signs of time on the brass parts due to normal use as visible in the photo.
A lamp of high collectible value, suitable for collectors of Murano glass artworks or for anyone wishing to have a unique piece of Italian glassmaking history to display in their office/home to give it a touch of elegance.
Will be shipped with proper packaging and tracked shipping.
