This one-of-a-kind light object "Tower" was designed in a Berlin-based design studio and 3D-printed using a computational process.
The pendant lamp consists of a matte white biopolymer based on corn starch and is biodegradable / environmentally friendly according to DIN EN ISO 14588. The material is stable, waterproof and easy to clean.
The design casts a shadow from bottom to top, thus creating a play of colors (see images).
The height of the lamp (excluding the lamp holder) is 250 mm.
The length of the textile cord is about 1 m and adjustable to your preferred height.
Each 3-D print has a necessary, fine and visible seam that holds the object together.
The delivery of the lamp includes a lamp holder E27, a textile cord and an energy-efficient LED.
