Description from the seller
The book of "Sex", is bound with rings and aluminum covers. It is large (35x28.5 cm) and weighs more than 1.5 kg.
This book marked a revolution in the music industry. Madonna was the first artist whose record deal allowed her to be free of her own image, and she pushed the limits of her own image with this erotic photography book, considered by conservatives of the time to be pornographic. This is the Japanese edition and it has texts in Japanese and some in English.
The photos are by Steven Meisel and the images were shot in Super 8 by Fabien Baron.
This Japanese edition of Madonna's Sex Book was printed in 1992. It contains the same images and texts as the English edition. Some pages are translated via printed overlays on the page, and other translations are added at the end of the book on some additional pages (see images). The book is printed on high-quality photographic paper. It comes with Dita's comic.
The covers are die-cut aluminum and spiral-stamped (hardcover) and it has its original plastic sleeve.
