Cooking pot - brass, copper - hammenpan

Offered: this fine 19th-century nailed cooking kettle or cooking pan, also known as a "hammenpan".
This pan was used in former times to cook hams in the kitchen.
The pan was then simply put in the fire; hence the 3 tall legs!
The pan is made of brass.
Interior tin-coated.
Lid also made of brass, with copper handle.
Handle made of copper.
The pan stands on three red-copper legs.
Everything handmade and nailed with copper nails.
Heavy and sturdy quality and nicely polished!
