Very elegant small antique jewelry box, rectangular in shape, made of thick glass or beveled crystal panels, presenting a pretty slightly bluish tone.

The mounting/frame is in gilded brass, it is particularly decorative, with fine repetitive friezes of the fleurons type and an upper border worked in an interlaced twisted braid.

The lid is also made of a thick beveled plate and features its ridged tab latch; it is hinged by a metal hinge.
The interior allows appreciation of the substantial thickness and the wide bevels of the panels.

The underside is closed by a dark plate, surrounded by the same small decorative frieze.

Overall good condition, the mounting shows patina and some normal signs of use, the glasses show small marks and age-related irregularities, see the photos which are part of the description.

Tres élégant  petit coffret à bijoux ancienne, de forme rectangulaire, constitué de plaques épaisses de verre ou cristal biseauté, presentant une jolie tonalité legerement bleutée.

La monture est en laiton doré , elle est particulièrement décorative, avec de fines frises répétitives de type fleurons et une bordure supérieure travaillée en torsade entrelacée.

Le couvercle est également constitué d'une épaisse plaque biseautée et possède son fermoir à languette striée, il est articulé par une charnière métallique.
L'interieur permet d'aprécier l'importante épaisseur et les larges biseaux des plaques.

Le dessous est fermé par une plaque sombre, entourée de la même petite frise décorative.

Bon état general , la monture presente une patine et quelques traces d'usage normales, les verres montrent de petites marques et irrégularités liées à l'âge, voir les photos elles font parties de la description.
