This is a particularly woolen "Love Carpet" by Robert Indiana in the colors yellow, red, and black. This is a handwoven, limited edition from 2005 (366/999). It is based on the iconic 'LOVE' artwork by Robert Indiana, designed in 1964. It is a typical icon of the Pop Art style. This rug from 2005 was made under the supervision of John Gilbert, a master rug maker.
In dyed strands, hand-tufted and hand-cut wool on canvas. Dimensions: 60.96 x 60.96 cm. The rug is in almost new condition. Shipped insured.

Het is gebaseerd op het iconische 'LOVE' kunstwerk van Robert Indiana, ontworpen in 1964. Het is een typisch icoon van de Pop Art stijl.
