Panel - Decorative mask - Textile, Wood, Brass - cross-stitch embroidery

An elegant oval wall panel with a finely worked handcrafted cross-stitch embroidery of a colorful bouquet of flowers in a vase against a dark background.

The embroidery is encased in a metal frame and crowned with a richly detailed copper/brass crest in Rococo style, decorated with scroll motifs and a carved female head (mascaron).

On the reverse side there is a chain to hang it.

Condition:

Good condition.

The embroidery has been well preserved with bright colors.

The metal crest and frame show an authentic patina with light oxidation traces (verdigris/green tarnish) that befits the age.

The rear shows some light wear.
